Meet the Team: Andreas
Outside the office, Andreas seeks out challenges. Climbing, skiing, hiking, bouldering or volleyball – exercise is simply part of his life. It creates balance and gives him the mental clarity he needs in software development. When he wants to take it easy, he relaxes with a book, a game or in the sauna.
From automation to software development
After getting his high school diploma from TFO in Bruneck, Andreas started his professional career straight away and worked at Zirkonzahn for around three years. He then moved to BTS, where he was involved in the automation of biogas plants as a PLC software developer. In this role, he developed control programs and supported international projects through to successful implementation.
After several years of practical experience, he decided to take another new step: in 2022, he began studying computer science in Innsbruck. Today, he is about to complete his bachelor's degree and is taking the opportunity to gain practical experience at profitize and further expand his programming skills.
What he does at profitize
As a software developer at profitize, Andreas primarily works on implementing new features. These include the banking interface and productivity functions. His goal is to integrate new requirements into our platform efficiently and sustainably.
Why profitize?
Andreas appreciates the flexible working hours, which allow him to balance his studies, work and leisure time. ‘I think what makes our team so special is the open atmosphere we have,’ he says. In this small team, it's easy to exchange ideas and ask for help. Even when working remotely, weekly meetings keep everyone up to date. For him, it's the "balance between flexibility and genuine teamwork that makes working together so enjoyable.
